Derbyshire Blue John with Ice and Fire Opalique Silver Pendant and Chain
We have for sale a beautiful sterling silver Blue John double sided pendant. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. In a round design, with a long Celtic style bail, this pendant is set with a unique piece of Derbyshire Blue John, and Ice and Fire Opalique. A 20" sterling silver curb chain is supplied as standard, other lengths are available. This pendant has a Platinum Jubilee hallmark, and the Sheffield Assay Office hallmark, with date letter X.
Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.

If, for any reason, your order is returned to us (e.g., incorrect address), then Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd will inform you immediately via email or phone call when the item is received. You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed. Please note, for items that are undelivered through fault of the customer (e.g., incorrect address), Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd reserve the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.
