We have for sale a beautiful pair of sterling silver Blue John stud earrings. They have been hand-crafted in Sheffield. In a small oval shape and set with unique pieces of Derbyshire Blue John. They fasten with a post and butterfly.
Blue John stone is a rare, semi-precious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.

All orders placed Monday - Friday before 3.30pm are dispatched the same day. Orders received after 3.30pm will be dispatched the next working day.

If, for any reason, your order is returned to us (e.g., incorrect address), then Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd will inform you immediately via email or phone call when the item is received. You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed. Please note, for items that are undelivered through fault of the customer (e.g., incorrect address), Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd reserve the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.
