Blue John stone is a rare, semi-precious mineral fluorite, found only at one location in the world, Treak Cliff Cavern, at the Western end of Hope Valley, near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.
Turritella Agate is a stone made up of fossilised snails, found in the river Wyoming in the USA. Turritella Agate is known for its colour, ranging from shades of brown to shades of white. Turritella Agate is a spiritual stone, with healing properties, useful for easing anxiety, and fear, providing security and courage.
