We have for sale a pretty pair of sterling silver Blue John drop earrings, in a small size. Beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. In a marquise shape and set with a unique pieces of Derbyshire Blue John. These earrings have a post and butterfly fasten.
Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.

You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed.
