We have for sale a simply stunning 9ct gold Blue John Double sided pendant. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England, and features a Hallmark from the Sheffield Assay Office. In a large oval shape, and set with a beautiful unique piece of Derbyshire Blue John on one side and Labradorite on the other. This pendant is available on its own or with an 18" or 20" strong 9ct yellow gold curb chain. Click options to choose.
Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.
Labradorite is a member of the Feldspar family and is treasured for its remarkable play of color, known as labradorescence. It is a stone of transformation and is a useful companion during periods of change, imparting strength and perseverance. It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies. Excellent for strengthening intuition - promoting psychic abilities.
