Whitby Jet Sterling Silver Cross Pendant and Chain

We have for sale a beautiful sterling silver Whitby Jet single sided pendant. This small sized pendant is in a cross shape, set with Whitby Jet, and has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. Set on an 18" sterling silver fine curb chain, with a bolt ring fasten.

Whitby Jet is fossilised driftwood, discovered in Yorkshire in England. In the Victorian era jet was mined both inland and along the coast. Jet is no longer mined and all our jet is found through natural coastal erosion. Whitby jet is famed for is deep and intense black colour and the lustrous shine. Jet is a spiritual gemstone and is considered to have abilities of protection and purification, with grounding energies. This is a great stone for emotional healing, having calming effects on people with anxiety and depression.
