Vintage Rolex 1500 Date Watch
We have for sale a classic vintage pre owned genuine Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1500 Date wristwatch, model 1500 dating to 1980. It is in really nice condition with very little signs of wear..
First appearing in the 1950s, the Rolex Date offers much of the same design and functionality as the classic 36mm Datejust, but with a smaller 34mm case diameter. A key feature of the Rolex Date 1500 watch is its chronometer-certified Perpetual movement. From the mid 1960's the 1575 Calibre self winding Rolex movement was fitted.
The all steel polished and brusched finish 34mm case is in great condition and featurtes a smooth polished steel bezel. The acrylic glass is in great condition having been replaced in May 2024, and features only a few very small surface marks, needing an eye glass to see. The silver sunburst dial has baton hour markers and features silver hands.
The classic Oyster bracelet has a classic folding clasp and is in great condition for its year.
It does have a vintage Rolex box, and has its original warranty papers dated 04/10/1980. There is an official Rolex service invoice from 1985 and we had this watch serviced by a Rolex watch specialist for our customer in May 2024.
The maximum wrist size is 20.0cm and features 3 removable link.
Comes with a 1-year H&H warranty for your peace of mind.
It has also been subject to due diligence checks with the watch register to make sure it has not been registered as lost or stolen on the date checked, a certificate is provided with the watch for your peace of mind.

We take great care to ensure all items are packed safely and securely to ensure that your new purchase arrives in perfect condition. All watches will be fully tested and set to the correct time prior to dispatch.
All orders placed Monday - Friday before 3pm are dispatched the same day. Orders received after 3pm will be dispatched the next working day.
Orders placed Friday (after 3pm), Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday (Unless on a Bank Holiday when orders are dispatched the next day, on Tuesday). Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email which will include your tracking reference number. Use this number to track your item right to your doorstep.
All Bespoke wedding ring and jewellery orders are dispatched 3-4 weeks from the order date.
If, for any reason, your order is returned to us (e.g., incorrect address), then Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd will inform you immediately via email or phone call when the item is received. You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed. Please note, for items that are undelivered through fault of the customer (e.g., incorrect address), Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd reserve the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.
