Vintage Rolex Air King Date Watch 5700
We have for sale a stunning vintage pre owned genuine Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air King Date wristwatch, model 5700. It is in fantastic condition having been fully refurbished by a Rolex watch specialist.
The "Air" Line of Rolex wristwatches were introduced in the 1940's to celebrate the achievements of RAF pilots after WWII. Of those models only the Air King still remains today. The original Air King featured no date and was referenced the 5500 model. The origins of the Air King Date watch, model 5700, date back to 1958. This added the easy to see date window, and used the Rolex calibre 1535 automatic movement.
It features a polished and brushed finish stainless steel case with smooth polished bezel and classic silver sunburst baton dial. A new plexiglass was fitted in July 2024 as part of a service carried out by a Rolex watch specialist.
This watch had a new Oystersteel bracelet, supplied by Rolex, fitted in 2023, by an authorised Rolex watch stockist. It is in amazing condition and still looks and feels brand new.
The receipts for the new bracelet, service and glass are present.
This watch was purchased new in 1987 in Cheshire. The original Rolex box, booklet and wallet are present. The warranty papers dated 26/09/1987 are also present.
The maximum wrist size is 19.0cm and features 3 removable link. Extra links can be purchased separately if required.
Comes with a 1-year H&H warranty for your peace of mind.
It has also been subject to due diligence checks with the watch register to make sure it has not been registered as lost or stolen on the date checked, a certificate is provided with the watch for your peace of mind.

We take great care to ensure all items are packed safely and securely to ensure that your new purchase arrives in perfect condition. All watches will be fully tested and set to the correct time prior to dispatch.
All orders placed Monday - Friday before 3pm are dispatched the same day. Orders received after 3pm will be dispatched the next working day.
Orders placed Friday (after 3pm), Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday (Unless on a Bank Holiday when orders are dispatched the next day, on Tuesday). Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email which will include your tracking reference number. Use this number to track your item right to your doorstep.
All Bespoke wedding ring and jewellery orders are dispatched 3-4 weeks from the order date.
If, for any reason, your order is returned to us (e.g., incorrect address), then Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd will inform you immediately via email or phone call when the item is received. You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed. Please note, for items that are undelivered through fault of the customer (e.g., incorrect address), Hollins and Hollinshead Ltd reserve the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.
