We have for sale a beautiful sterling silver Blue John single sided pendant. It has been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. In a shield shape, set with a unique piece of Derbyshire Blue John, with a solid silver back. This pendant is set with a 20" sterling silver curb chain, other lengths are available.
Blue John stone is a rare, semiprecious mineral, fluorite, found at only one location in the world. This is at Treak Cliff Cavern which is at the western end of Hope Valley near Castleton in Derbyshire, England. The name Blue John derives from the French Bleu Jaune, meaning Blue John. It was first discovered by miners exploring the cavern for lead.

You will be given a choice as to whether the item is sent out again, or a refund is processed.
